Massage is a form of therapy that involves the manipulation of superficial and deep layers of muscle and connective tissue, generally by the hands and forearms. By utilizing various techniques, enhanced function, reduction of pain, and healing can occur.

Always drink plenty of water before and after a massage and also try not to eat at least an hour before services. Drinking water can help to ease any possible soreness because your muscles use water when they are being worked and the water will help flush out metabolic waste released during the massage.

You will want to remove as much jewelry as possible to maximize the flow of the massage. You will be asked to take off most of your clothing to avoid oil getting on them but feel free to undress to your comfort level.

Only the area of your body being worked on will be exposed as proper draping techniques are used to cover you for your warmth and protection. The table will be heated and can be adjusted or turned off. The face cradle can be raised or lowered according to your preference. A short health questionnaire will be given to you to fill out before the massage so it is recommended that you arrive a few minutes early if it is your first visit.

Enjoying a relaxing experience for yourself is my utmost concern. If you have any questions or discomforts before, during or after the massage, please do not hesitate to let me know.
